We all look for reliable sources. Every time I quite some
alternative source, someone tells me that if it were true the
mainstream media would cover it. Well, I just read about how most media
outlets in the US are owned by six corporations. But, if that wasn't
enough, we need to look at where they get their information.
While I would look at http://NarcoNews.com at times, it was never my primary source of "news" until the 28 June 2009 coup in Honduras. Since then, NarcoNews has provided a lot of insight. It was always clear that it was representing "the people" rather than what we have gotten all too used to in what we think of as the media.
Reading more and even corresponding with its creator, Al Giordano, I now better understand what happened to the media and what real journalism is all about.
The Zeitgeist Movement is a movement that feels that changing the world economy into a Resource Based economy is the right way to fix the world. Personally, I am not sure yet but I do think it is important that we look at their ideas.
