One of the stories I hear all the time in http://www.NicaLiving.com is that "if it was true it would be in the mainstream news". When I suggest that vested interests modify what is acceptable news am labeled a loco or people even regress to that old general-purpose label, Communist.

We all look for reliable sources. Every time I quite some alternative source, someone tells me that if it were true the mainstream media would cover it. Well, I just read about how most media outlets in the US are owned by six corporations. But, if that wasn't enough, we need to look at where they get their information.
