Bilbo Blogger
One of the most irritating things about on-line "things" is that you generally have to type stuff in some dumb box on-line. You don't get to think about what you are doing, why you are doing it, get drunk (or sober) to come up with better words and such.
Today, I started looking for a blogger interface so I can do the writing locally and, when I am ready, send it off the the blog. Pretty much the first page of info in a "Linux blogger client" search was filled with how it was too bad there was no blog client for Linux that was [like X, Y, or Z]--apparently blog clients that run on some other strange operating system. Then I found one that said "bilbo looks like it is perfect, too bad it runs on KDE instead of Gnome". Bingo.
So, here I am. My first post using bilbo. So far, it is just a local editor but it has a nice tab called Html Editor and, I am assuming, a way to import a file. It also has an icon for an image and something called "Media list". Whatever that is. Probably the most important thing it has is a "Save Locally" icon.
So, consider this version one of this post. If it doesn't crash and burn, I will add some other funny stuff. I want to know, for example, if I can use tags.
Ok, let's play with images first. Here goes. It's here but I don't know what I can do with it but now I know what the media list is.

Ok, things looked pretty ugly but I think that was because I could not use full HTML. So, I just changed that. If this looks ok then I did it.
