Is Pot a Better Answer?
Are we sold chemicals and patent medicines for conditions that can be be treated with marijuana? Is Marijuana safer? Well, probably.
Marijuana has already made inroads where there are no effective patent medicines such as AIDS wasting and nausea from chemotherapy. If it is effective in those cases, it seems that is more evidence that we are being sold a bill of goods in other cases.
And article in Activist Post titled 5 popular but harmful drugs that can be replaced with marijuana offers a reasonable list.
Besides the medicinal side, there is a lot more the hemp plant has to offer from fiber to food. Yeah, we are certainly being sold a bill of goods but when one plant threatens profits of so many industries (including the War on Drugs if you call that an industry) it certainly is fighting an uphill battle.
